Experience:

From 2015 to 2020, Ms. Vu Thi Thanh Nhu worked at the Science Institute of Rural Development (SIRD), participating in research, consulting, and implementation of projects related to rural economic development, agricultural production, and rural tourism. She focused on developing agricultural value chain models, supporting cooperative development, and promoting sustainable livelihoods in rural areas.

Since May 2025, she has been working at INVESTIP (Intellectual Property Law Company Limited) as Deputy Head of the Consulting and Intellectual Property Development Department. In this role, she is responsible for consulting, managing, and implementing projects related to intellectual property protection and brand development for agricultural products, traditional handicrafts, and local specialties. Her work includes handling registration for collective trademarks and certification marks; developing brand strategies for enterprises and cooperatives; and advising on the utilization of intellectual property rights to enhance the competitiveness of local products in both domestic and international markets.

With over 10 years of professional experience in research and consulting in agricultural development, rural tourism, and intellectual property management, she has participated in many international, national, and local projects. Key projects include collaborations with UNDP and APEC on recycling under the circular economy model and sustainable biomass energy; developing agricultural tourism frameworks for Hanoi city and Hung Yen province; and consulting on high-tech agriculture projects and agricultural product value chains. She is also the co-author of several scientific publications on circular economy development, agricultural tourism, and international trade policy. In addition to her research activities, she also participates in teaching and training programs on cooperative development, new rural development, and intellectual property management.

Main Responsibilities:

Consulting, building, and developing intellectual property: Conducting registration for protection, building, and managing collective trademarks and certification marks for agricultural products, traditional crafts, and local specialties; supporting brand development and establishing intellectual property rights for enterprises and cooperatives.

Researching and consulting on agricultural, rural, and agri-tourism development: Participating in the development of production-consumption chain models; proposing solutions for high-tech agricultural product development and agricultural tourism in various localities.

Implementing international and national projects: Participating in projects related to the circular economy, waste management, and sustainable biomass energy development; conducting surveys and developing guidelines for agricultural and rural tourism development in various localities.

Scientific research, teaching, and training: Participating in research and publication of scientific works related to agricultural development, the circular economy, and intellectual property; teaching and conducting training courses on cooperative law, new rural development, and intellectual property development for localities and organizations.
