The Intellectual Property Office of Vietnam (VIPO) and the Korean Intellectual Property Office (KIPO) has initiated the PPH Pilot program for two year (from 1st June 2019 to 31 May 2021). In the phase of pilot program, VIPO will receive a limitation of 100 patent cases per year, which are stemmed from Korea and meet the conditions specified in the Guidelines for Procedures for Filing PPH Requests in VIPO.
In contrast, KIPO will receive 100 patent cases from the VIPO (previously filed with the VIPO) and meet the conditions in the Guidelines for Procedures for Filing PPH Requests in KIPO.
