On November 24th 2022, the People’s Committee of Văn Quan district in collaboration with INFOREST Investment Joint Stock Company organized a conference to announce the collective trademark “Văn Quan Cage Fish”.
The project “Building a collective trademark for the Cage Fish product of Văn Quan district” belongs to the project of implementing intellectual property strategies in Lang Son province untill 2030.
The project has been implemented by the Department of Science and Technology of Lạng Sơn province in collaboration with INFOREST Investment Joint Stock Company since May 31st 2021 with the following objectives: building the the collective trademark “Văn Quan Cage Fish”; building a system of collective trademark management tools for “Văn Quan Cage Fish”; building promotional means for “Văn Quan Cage Fish” on the market. In October 2022, the project owner has connected the “Văn Quan Cage Fish” product consumption of Tân Minh Cage Fish Farming Cooperative with Minh Phát Lạng Sơn Co., Ltd. Stamped, labelled, and packaged cage fish product has been displayed and sold at Minh Phat agricultural product store located at Kiot 4, Nguyễn Tri Phương Street, Lạng Sơn city.
The “Văn Quan Cage Fish” product was granted a collective trademark protection certificate, alongside established management tools, which contributes to the development of cage fish products of Văn Quan district, bringing economic efficiency for the locality in general and cage fish farmers in particular.
